Join us as we travel in our custom 12 bunk entertainer coach to the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT where we will participate in the World's largest LGBT conference - True Colors XIX. This is the 19th True Colors Conference and up to 3,000 participants are expected. This conference will be a great two days to connect, learn and have fun.The conference concludes with a dance from 8 to midnight on Saturday.
Our trip starts early Thursday morning. We will travel south through Maine picking up campers along the way. Once everyone is on the bus we will have a few hours to get acquainted with each other and with our "home" for the next few days. We will make a few stops on our way to Connecticut and will plan to arrive at the University in the afternoon in time to help the True Colors team setup. When we are done volunteering we will make dinner in the bus and then spend some time swimming in the University Pool. Finally we will retire back to the bus for a good night sleep.
Friday and Saturday will be spent attending the conference. The conference offers many interesting and fun activities. You can view the conference schedule on our their website at . We may possibly have the best lodging during the conference as will be staying, in the bus, right on campus.
After breakfast on Sunday morning our journey continues as we travel to Boston. We will spend the middle part of the day exploring sites like Boston Common and Quincy Market. We will plan to leave Boston at 2:00 pm for the final leg of our trip home.
