became an alliance partner in 2002.

in the delivery of child welfare services and services designed

by 11 year old Makenzie Snyder whose mission is to provide
children living in foster care in the United States with
a dufflebag and cuddly friend. • Court
Appointed Special Advocates - CASA Volunteer Court Appointed Special
Advocates (CASA) are everyday people who are appointed by
judges to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected
children. • Foster
Club Provides foster children with a network
that allows them to communicate with others in care. • Moss

Over the past 25 years, Moss
Beach Homes has grown from a single group home into one of
the largest private, non-profit out-of-home care agencies
in California. • National
Foster Parent Association Brings together foster parents,
agency representatives and community people who wish to work
together to improve the foster care system and enhance the
lives of all children and families. • National
Association of Social Workers
Works to enhance the professional
growth and development of its members, to create and maintain
professional standards, and to advance sound social policies. • National
Association of Counsel for Children Provides training and technical
assistance to attorneys and other professionals, serves as
a public information and professional referral center, and
engages in public policy and legislative advocacy. • National
Siblings Day The purpose of Siblings Day, on
April 10th, is to set aside a day to pay special tribute
to honor our brothers and sisters who are living and memorialize
those who have died. This day is set aside to remember
the utmost importance of this relationship and to cherish,
love and respect our brothers and sisters. • Orphan
Foundation of America
Provides
orphans and foster youth with college scholarships, teen
leadership training, innovative mentoring and recognition
